Pink-187 gem Powerjam finally gets an official release after a long period of frequent club play in Helsinki. Here is what the artist has to say about this release:

"I did Powerjam a couple of years ago, as I started chopping up samples from The Power by Snap! and possibly the most sampled drum break of all time by the Winstons. The track I created ended up being this in your face percussion-heavy club anthem with a sort of timeless feel to it.

As the song has lived with me for the past few years now, I feel it has a very personal place in my heart and in my transitioning process. Not only is this track a club anthem, it's my coming out of the closet-trans empowerment anthem."

Pink-187 is a mover and shaker in the Helsinki music scene, running the influential THRDEYEVSN platform, and producing beats for Pink Taco Krew. Her song Swan was released on EABE Ambient Compilation Volume II.

The digital release includes remixes by ODJ Pirkka, AGOD and Agamwe. In addition to the digital release, Powerjams will be released as a small run vinyl 12" and a sample pack enabling fans to make their own remixes of the track.
